Acquisitions are a key part of Premier Forest’s growth strategy and the group called upon Kilsby Williams for assistance with the latest addition to its expanding portfolio. Premier wanted to acquire Monmouthshire Timber Supplies Ltd, also known as Mon Timber, a well-respected supplier of timber products, joinery and truss rafters operating from three sites between Newport and Cardiff.
Kilsby Williams supported Premier Forest by carrying out a financial due diligence engagement on the target company. This involved a detailed review of Mon Timber’s finances, and we used our experience and expertise to verify the business’ records and potential, allowing Premier Forest to make an informed decision to successfully acquire the company.
